Lightweight like before, the XXI takes after the visual and durability of an oyster shell. With protecting the foot during explosive movements in mind, the upper features a mono-mesh upper supported by zonal cables all around the midfoot. Underfoot, the shoe brings back the Zoom Turbo unit in the forefoot, with a bottom-loaded, 13-millimeter Zoom unit in the heel, and a full-length Cushlon 2.0 foam carrier.
